BRANTHAM'S PARISH COUNCIL
Call: 07594 668446
Bio: I have lived in the village since 1999 and been a parish councillor since February 2020. I chair the Planning Committee and the Legal sub-committee – these are topics of great interest to me personally and also to the whole village – considering issues and then compiling succinct, accurate and meaningful responses to those issues is key to the harmony of the village.
I retired from work in 2018 and now focus on my main hobbies of horse riding (I have an Irish Sport Horse which lives in Bentley) and keeping fit at the gym (where I also work a few part time hours) … as well as keeping my house and garden in some semblance of order.
For most of 2021, I was the operations manager at a local vaccination centre where we delivered nearly 75 000 jabs!!
Bio: I have lived in the village 15 years, moving from Broomknoll. I have been a parish cllr about 8 months. I most enjoy knowing more about what is going on in the village and working on the subcomittees. Also feeling more connected to the village as a whole.
I work as a music teacher and music plays a large part of my life. I also enjoy walking and craft hobbies. I spend a lot of time working with East Bergholt Church as their treasurer.
Bio: I have lived in Brantham for 38½ years and was elected to the Parish Council in May 2011. I enjoy getting involved at ground level and helping to make improvements to different aspects of the village. In my case there have been improvements to the Village Hall and the play areas of the village.
I am a semi-retired widow and work part-time as a freelance secretary. I have a dog so can regularly been seen walking him around the village. I also enjoy singing and et up the Brantham Community Choir in the village 8 years ago. The choir meets on a Tuesday evening in the Methodist Church.
